SKILLS STRENGTHENING FOR INDUSTRIAL VALUE ENHANCEMENT (STRIVE) PROJECT

Skills Strengthening for Industrial Value Enhancement (STRIVE) is a program initiated by Government of India with assistance from World Bank. This project is being implemented by the Ministry of Skill Development &Entrepreneurships (MSDE) Through State Governments, Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and Industry Clusters (ICs). The object is  improving the efficiency of skill training to apprenticeships in Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) through training and teaching.

Association of Industries, Dewas has been given the STRIVE project at Dewas as Industry Cluster and are training manpower in four streams:

1. CNC Programmer Cum Operator.

2. Fitter

3. Machinist

4. Accounts Executive.

One of best part of the project is to provide on job training at the works  and  simultaneously basic training  by the Association of  Industry, Dewas or the Industries themselves. The Basic Training will be provided by experts to the apprenticeship candidates.

Training :

Machinist :

On job Training and Basic Training : workshop calculation and science, Basic Mathematics, Conversion of fraction, percentage, Material Science, Mass, weight and Density, Menstruation, Elasticity, Heat Temperature and basic Electricity. Safety, Precision Instruments reading and handling of machine.

CNC Programmer Cum Operator:

All topics cover under machinist course and CNC part programming / codes etc. Also operation of CNC machines.

Fitter :

On job Training & Basic Training: Engineering drawing, Workshop Science & Calculation, Professional Skill & Professional Knowledge, Employability Skills etc.

Accounts Executive :

On job Training & Basic Training: Prepare tax compliance related documents, Prepare and perform payroll function, Prepare receipt and payment voucher, Understand and book credit purchases and sales, Prepare financial statements, prepare GST returns and entry, Communicate effectively and achieve customer satisfaction

Once apprentice candidate complete the training, employer need not hire the outside agency for above purpose.
